Wellcome Collection

When I joined Wellcome Collection, the organisation had recently refreshed its wider brand identity and needed to bring the When Science Finds a Way podcast in line with the updated visual language. Brought in on a short-term contract, my role was to evolve the existing identity rather than reinvent it, preserving its recognisability while aligning it with the new colour palette, typography and brand principles.

Working independently, I refined the podcast’s visual language and developed a cohesive design system that extended across podcast artwork, social media, web assets and promotional content. The challenge was to create a flexible identity that felt unmistakably part of the Wellcome Collection brand while retaining the podcast’s own established presence.

Collaborating closely with design, marketing, photography and editorial teams, I delivered the project within a tight timeframe.
